Fresh Folk
Mix and match various characters and scenes with these free or pay-what-you-like illustrations, perfect for personal projects.
Pros
- Every character has an assortment of poses, outfits, and skin tones
- Create a variety of scenes with 43 objects
- Free or pay as much as you can afford
Cons
- No preview of all the assets
- Non-commercial use
Fresh Folk Illustrations offers a delightful collection of mix-and-match characters and scenes that are perfect for adding a unique touch to your personal projects. You can choose to download the illustrations for free or pay as much as you like, which is a nice touch if you want to support the artist, Leni Kauffman. The artwork is charming and versatile, making it easy to create a variety of scenes that fit your vision.
The site is user-friendly, and the ability to mix and match different elements means you can customize your illustrations to suit your needs. However, a bit of a downside is that the illustrations are not for commercial use. If you need something for a commercial project, you’ll need to commission Leni Kauffman directly.
One thing that could be improved is the number of previews available before downloading. It would be great to see more of the illustrations upfront to get a better idea of what you’re working with. Despite this minor inconvenience, Fresh Folk Illustrations is a wonderful resource for personal projects, offering high-quality, customizable artwork.
