Meshy

Meshy is an AI-powered tool built to generate 3D models, textures, and animations from a simple prompt or image. You give it a line of text or drop in a concept sketch, and it spits out a full 3D model with baked-in textures ready to be exported. It is not a replacement for proper modeling or rigging, but it is fast, surprisingly flexible, and gets you further than you’d expect with very little effort.

The tools are broken into a few modes. You can go from text to 3D, image to 3D, or just generate textures if you already have a base mesh. There is also a built-in animation tool that can rig and move humanoid models without needing to open a 3D app. Export options cover all the standard formats including FBX, OBJ, GLB, USDZ, STL, and Blender files. The results plug cleanly into pipelines like Unity or Blender. The geometry is editable, but expect to do some cleanup if you are using it in a production-level scene.

Meshy is especially useful for concepting or filling in background elements without burning hours in modeling. It supports multiple styles, from realistic to low-poly to stylized, and gives you just enough control over mesh density and topology to make it useful without being overwhelming. Some outputs need refinement, and you will not want to use it straight out of the box for client-facing hero assets, but as a tool to speed up the 3D process, Meshy gets the job done.
