- The courses cover specific topics like geometric design, creating textures, and even the business side of a creative career
- Free trial through Skillshare
DKNG’s Skillshare series is studio knowledge you actually want. The classes walk you through vector workflows, poster craft, texture and halftone techniques, and real project briefs pulled from client work. Lessons are practical and project based so you learn moves you can reuse in real jobs. DKNG is an amazing illustration studio and having that work shown step by step is rare and generous.
What lifts the series is how they show the pipeline. You see process, not just finished art. There are breakdowns of how they approach composition, color, and print prep, and you get hands on projects that force you to apply those methods. For a designer who dabbles in illustration or an illustrator wanting to level up, these lessons are a fast way to steal the right moves.
This is on Skillshare so you watch the classes there, but the value is the same. DKNG sharing trade secrets is pretty special and you should jump on the opportunity to learn from these guys. If you want cleaner vector work, stronger poster sensibility, or studio tested production tricks, start here and apply what they show in your next brief.
